General Applications

Silicone vacuum hoses are widely used in the automotive industry for cooling systems, connecting the radiator, intercooler, turbocharge and water hose system etc.

  • With excellent bending performance, operation temperature from – 40℃ to 220 ℃.
  • No taste, no toxic, eco-friendly, 100% raw material. Working pressure 0.3mpa to 0.9mpa.
  • Bursting pressure 1.9 mpa. Tolerrance 0.5 mm.
  • Features of Silicone Vacuum Hoses

  • After being exposed to extreme heat time and time again, silicone vacuum hoses won't stick to the parts of the engine and are not stuck, it’s very easy to install and replace.
  • High temperatures are no match for silicone vacuum hoses, which can withstand much higher temperatures than the engine, so they will not be damaged and cause cracks or leaks easily.
  • The material of the silicone vacuum hose is not affected and will not corrode in harsh environments such as drought, excessive humidity, snow, rain and extreme heat.
  • Silicone vacuum hoses may be a little more expensive than rubber hoses, but they are less susceptible to damage from high temperatures after years use, so they don't need to be replaced as often and will have a longer lifespan.
  • Colors of Silicone Vacuum Hoses

  • blue
  • red
  • black
  • customized colors are available.
  • Sizes of Silicone Vacuum Hoses

Sizes are dependent on inner diameter, outer diameter and wall thickness, also match the suitable size of hose clip, and can be customized by different requirements.

    Silicone Vacuum Hoses Kits

RONTEIX high temperature silicone vacuum hose kit can replace most of OEM turbo rubber vacuum hoses and breather hoses, our vacuum lines with high-heat resistance silicone material which meets or exceeds OE specifications (Maximum temperature rating: 350F).

Also, RONTEIX FKM lined vacuum hose kits can provide extremely high resistance to the harshness of gasoline, diesel and automotive oils, these flexible lines can be used where the engine fluid flowing through the hose would traditionally degrade silicone hoses.

RONTEIX FKM lined hose is excellent resistance to high temperatures, high pressure, ozone, oxygen, mineral oil, synthetic hydraulic fluids, fuels, aromatics, and many other organic solvents and chemicals.

    FAQs

If you have any questions involved, below maybe can solve your questions.
Q: Why should upgrade your OEM rubber hoses to silicone vacuum hoses?

A:  OEM rubber hose is rigid and easy to age, crack, normally it only can last 5 years, so it's necessory to replace and upgrade your OEM rubber hose at right time to keep your vehicle in high performance working condition.

Q: How often should vacuum hoses be replaced?

A: Normally when your engine OEM rubber hose lasts 6 years, , it is aging. Or when there is a puncture that need to prevent proper sunction, you need to replace or upgrade.

Q: Is silicone material good for a vacuum?

A: As you know, traditional OEM rubber vacuum hoses is easy to crack or leak and age, but silicone is able to resist much higher temperatures than rubber.

Q: Which is better, EPDM or silicone coolant hose?

A: Silicone rubber is a durable material that is resistant to wear and tear and  it’s a top choice for automotive engines and coolant systems, which are resistant to oil, and fuel. EPDM hoses, while still durable, are used in traditional hoses.

Q: What is the best material for a coolant hose?

A: Of course, it’s silicone rubber. Silicone hose is an ideal and top choice for application in radiator and water coolant systems.

Q: Do silicone coolant hoses need special clamps?

A: Due to the clamp’s bad temperature fluxions, after a long time, the coolant hose open mouth place will be broken causing cracks, shearing, and even leaks.

Q: How do you cut a silicone coolant hose?

A:  Use a knife, the ruler can make it.

Q: What hose does coolant run through?

A: The upper radiator hose connects to the thermostat housing and the radiator. From the bottom of the radiator, is the lower radiator hose, which leads to the water pump. Driven by the vehicle's water pump, the engine coolant loses heat after passing through the radiator.

Q: Is it difficult to replace a coolant hose?

A: It's easy work for professional and skilled people to replace a radiator hose. The difficult job is bleeding the cooling system afterward, other jobs are extremely easy.

Q: Can you replace a coolant hose yourself?

A: Yes, of course. But before replacement, please learn the steps by video or paper instruction. It’s a simple job.
